When we first visited the property, we were shocked by the state of disrepair. A large windowless closet-room dominated the entrance, reducing the size of usable space and blocking natural light. Beautiful brutalist planters on the balcony were a poor sight to behold as the tenant had let all the plants and trees dry out, but the open views to agricultural fields and the forest beyond were still undeniable.
We deployed the homely 5:5 Renovation Concept to transform the space into a bright and airy 2bed 1bath apartment suitable for a young family.
